AHRI’s Standards for Canada
As an accredited standards developing organization through the Standards Council of Canada (SCC), AHRI develops Joint Canada-U.S. National Standards using a streamlined process. This process involves Consensus Standards Project Committees (CSPC), consisting of Canadian and U.S. stakeholders, that develop new joint national standards and maintain existing standards under a periodic maintenance cycle. Through publication of Joint National Standards, AHRI supports harmonization across borders with the goal of One Standard-One Test.

The minimum period of 60 calendar days may be shortened with an appropriate rationale and will be announced accordingly on the AHRI website. Visit AHRI Public Review Drafts webpage for the list of available draft standards for public review.
