Through AHRI, its member companies donate HVACR equipment to schools who provide the Industry Competency Exams and/or are PAHRA-accredited school. Since the program's launch in 2001, millions of dollars of equipment has been donated to hundreds of schools.

To receive donated equipment at no charge, schools must agree to release the manufacturer, Intertek Testing Services and AHRI from liability, and in some cases, agree to pay shipping costs.
