AHRI certification consists of manufacturers who voluntarily participate in independent testing to ensure that their product will perform according to published claims. Certified ratings for the certification programs are published in AHRI's Directory of Certified Product Performance.

The directory offers a convenient source for showing certified efficiencies and capacity ratings for the listed products. By comparing the product performance ratings, the appropriate product for a particular job can be selected with the assurance that the product will perform as indicated in the directory.
