AHRI Guideline B: Roof Mounted Outdoor Air-Conditioner Installations (1997)
Program Scope
This document establishes guidelines for the installation of roof mounted outdoor air-conditioner equipment and sets forth good construction practices covering curb and roof penetrations and sealings. This guideline is a joint publication with the Sheet Metal and Air-Conditioning Contractors' National Association, Inc. (SMACNA).

AHRI Guideline E: Fouling Factors: A Survey of Their Application in Today's Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Industry (1997)
Program Scope
This guideline addresses the influence of fouling of heat transfer surfaces as it affects water-chilling evaporators and water-cooled condensers. It describes fouling factor allowances applied to centrifugal and rotary screw water chilling packages, positive displacement compressor water chilling packages, as well as absorption water chilling and water heating packages in ARI Standards 550/590 and 560.

AHRI Guideline K: Containers for Recovered Non-Flammable Fluorocarbon Refrigerants (2009)

This guideline applies to cylinders with a maximum service pressure of 400 psig and ton containers with a service pressure of 500 psig for the receipt, storage and transportation of recovered non-flammable fluorocarbon refrigerants.

This guideline is applicable to all Department of Transportation (DOT) Non-Refillable and Refillable Fluorocarbon Refrigerant Cylinders, as defined in Section 3, having water capacity greater than 8 pounds, used to transport refrigerants sold in the United States.

The purpose of this guideline is to establish a method of calculating the energy efficiency of applied Energy Recovery Ventilation components and of heating, ventilating, and/or air-conditioning systems utilizing such components at selected operating conditions. AHRI Guideline W: Selecting, Sizing, & Specifying Packaged Air-To-Air Energy Recovery Ventilation Equipment (2005)
Program Scope
The purpose of this guideline is to provide information to support the application of Air-to-Air Energy Recovery Ventilation Equipment (AAERVE). This guideline supports AAERVE that is manufactured using Air-to-Air Heat Exchangers (energy recovery components) rated in accordance with ARI Standard 1060. These recovery components include Heat Pipe Heat Exchangers, Plate Heat Exchangers, and Rotary Heat Exchangers.
