Sprawling over 200 acres, the Hill Country Golf Club offers a scenic, dramatic, and balanced championship golf course featuring four sets of tee placement for every level of golfer. Arthur Hills and Associates designed the course to capture the beauty and landscape of Texas Hill Country.

The Oaks Nine is named for the towering oaks that blanket the course. From wooded ravines to tree-lined fairways, this nine is a demanding test of accuracy. The Lakes Nine is characterized by the clear blue lakes that come into play throughout the course. There are also wooded ravines and strategically placed bunkers throughout the course for an even greater challenge.

The tournament will be scored using the Modified Stableford scoring system.

Foursome pairings will be provided prior to the Leadership Forum.

Cost is $165 per person. It includes green fees, cart fees, professional tournament management, personalized scorecards, bag handling gratuity, taxes, shotgun start, box lunches, and beverages. Golf commitment may be canceled without financial obligation until October 14, 2022. After October 14, the fee will not be refunded; however, player substitutions are allowed. Email [email protected].

If you bring your own clubs, you may store them at the resort for the duration of your stay. Upon arrival, you may leave your golf bag with the valet/bell staff. If you need your clubs at any time during your stay, simply notify the golf shop or any golf staff. Tournament players’ clubs will be preloaded to carts on the day of the tournament. The hotel recommends ShipSticks to guests choosing to ship their clubs in advance.

Because we will use the Modified Stableford scoring system, it is important that you include your handicap in the Registration Questions section of the event registration.

Rental clubs for men and women are available at the Golf Club for $70 plus tax per set, per day. Please indicate right- or left-handed clubs in the space provided for your foursome request.

San Antonio is known as “Military City,” owing to its many military facilities and active and retired service personnel. Join fellow AHRI spouses in helping local military children navigate deployment by supporting Comfort Crew and The With You All the Way (WYATW)! Foundation. Comfort Crew provides programs and resources to help military kids and their families connect and build resiliency in the face of extraordinary challenges. WYATW! was developed to address common issues experienced by children ages 6 and up when a family member is deployed. Two million children have experienced at least one parent’s deployment, and families are often separated for several years due to multiple deployments.

Participants will work together to assemble deployment kits for Joint Base San Antonio Children. These kits are full of resiliency-building tools: an animated DVD to let kids know they aren’t alone, a journal to express their feelings, a family guidebook for parents, a plush bear to provide comfort and companionship, and items designed to keep the family connected.
